Not quite sure what to think of this first episode, it is entertaining enough but with a large dose of silliness with over the top action scenes. I will give it a few episodes to see if it is worth following up, but it is not love at first sight unlike Cambrian period and Memory lost.
It is supposed to be a setting between WO I and WO II but the look and feel does not really match that era, with not a lot of accuracy in the historic setting … playboy bunnies before the 1960’s anyone ? … I will just take this as a fantasy drama set in parallel world in an imaginative historic setting, if not the historic inaccuracies will drive me scatty.
And what to think of Mr Chuck as a Brit with an Eastern European accent, circumstances in the local acting community might not have given them a chance to cast somebody with a British accent, but surely picking a credible British name for a character could not have been that hard.
