To the world, Yi Lian Kai is a rich playboy who cares very little about his filial responsibilities, compared to his talented elder brothers and who falls in love with the daughter of a government official who has fallen out of favor.     First to subbed back then, you were such an angel, 😇
    Filial piety is the main theme of this drama,
    From the marriages of 2nd mistress to Qin Sang,
    From Lan Po’s abandonment to go to Europe,
    From LianShen rebellion for his “biological father”
    For all those actions were fueled with filial piety,
    For different ending in last scene if LanPo had foiled tutor’s plan?¯\_(?)_/¯

  2. I finished it in on Viki!!! I just wanna say thank you so much for your hard work and being the first few of people to subbed this for us non-Chinese speakers or sub this drama in general. I love the drama and it will always have a place in my heart. I am so sad the drama ended, and what an ending that was :(. I hate to invest my emotion in sad drama but omg I knew the ending and it hurts to finally see how it ended. But that is life, greed and power drives family and tear them apart. You can’t have it all. “If” time could stop when we met….how true for some of us. And when Qian Sang mentioned that she needs to force herself to forget Liankai so ahe can live and move on, and how true because she needs to forget so she can live, and he also asked for her to forget too…sigh.

  7. Lian Shen is really impressive in his military tactics and I’m glad he has the same honor mentality as Lian Kai of not harming family. It’s a shame the uncle is such a little bitch meddling in every little scenario.

    I can’t believe Wang Ping used the kite to lure Qing Sang out of hiding. That’s fucked up. It’s bad enough he left her high and dry not once but twice then has the audacity to use her relentless love to capture her and Lian Kai?! Wow. He is officially on my shit list. Poor Qing Sang she actually believed he came to save her. I am pissed as hell her stupidity got Lian Kai shot and lost their only opportunity to escape. Well I guess she made up for it with sexy time. It cracked me up Lian Kai was confused as hell when she started to undress =D

    1. I agree with you! I got schocked when I knew that LWP used the kite to lure QS. I admitted I sweared at him at this scene lol.

      I can’t belive that he used this way to lure QS and YLK out as he show us how much he love QS. I almost thought that he actually wanted to lure just QS out and save her but his army destroyed the plan.

      I felt a little dissapointed that QS wasn’t so mad at LWP for this.

      I also like it when I saw YLK’s confused face as QS started to undress lol.

        I was hella pissed that she wasn’t pissed at all! Her stupidity/love whatever you want to call it is next level, smh.

        When Lian Kai lunged at Qing Sang’s face, I was like he ready =P Gotta say, the boy can kiss O_o

  10. Yup just like QS to always almost get YLK killed. She went from hate to love real fast in episode 21 almost don’t buy it lol. Man, their uncle must really hate YLK bugging LS to get rid of him meanwhile PJC is luring QS to believe LS is the mastermind behind wanting to capture and kill YLK smh. They really make QS dense in here sighhh….

    1. Yeah I too think the same. You should not waste time on color of night anymore as it’s been licensed by viki. Instead kindly sub dramas that are unsubbed, aren’t licensed by any legal platform and are still hoping for someone subs. I request kindly choose such unrated dramas.
