Recap: A vegetable plague that killed anyone who ate the infected vegetables caused a wave of refugees to flood into Dong Xiang Prefect. However this so-called plague seems to just be a myth….

Ep 22

  1. I like the conversation of the couple when husband remarked how hard the life of the farmers must be (after he spent the morning trampling over the field! Hahaha) and Yi Shao quoting her dad, “the vegetables we eat have been grown from the sweat and blood of other people.” Love it! This drama is even reminding me to be grateful to those who do arduous work under the sun just so we can have those vegetables and rice! Now I feel a little bad on those times that I didn’t finish my vegetables. (Can I just blame it on those “chefs” who didn’t have half of Yi Shao’s talent and “couldn’t make it delicious” and “disappointed the ingredients”! 🙈)
